And we all know that Gaga was a mess at that time, she was depressed and this can make some bad things to you, there is always a few bad decisions. She's far better now and bringing this up seems irrelevant. And honestly, I don't really care for the opinions of people, stupid enough not to understand that. You, guys, shouldn't too. It still confuses me as to why she had him in the song in the first place with lyrics that could be taken the wrong way. She's believing Kesha, but apparently didn't think the testimonies of the many models who have stepped forth about Terry or the history behind R. Kelly holds the same weight. She obviously comes at it from a different perspective, seeing positive sides of both R. Kelly and Richardson, and I appreciate that Gaga does seem to believe in innocent until proven guilty and is willing to give them the benefit of the doubt because of her experiences with them. However...it's a touchy risk to take. And it's a bad risk to take if you want to take a stand against sexual assault in the industry. People have every right to criticize Gaga for fraternizing with these two men as she's about to sing a song like TIHTY. And honestly, if Gaga is going to take a big stand against this kind of thing, she really should start by explaining herself. Not that she HAS to, she can do what she wants and believe who she wants, but she's less trustworthy without speaking openly about her choices here. DWUW is a song that serves an erected middle finger to the media and those who try to bring Gaga (& the artist in general) down. The media can try; Gaga will squash their stupidity I'm sure.
