The passage says: "For someone whose singles aren't on the charts anymore, Elton still attracts the attention of a pop star in his prime. There have been scraps aplenty, beginning a decade ago by ripping on Madonna for lip-syncing in concert. "I say what I feel," says Elton. "I probably went too far with Madonna, and I got very personal and I wrote her – she was very gracious." Still, it's an issue for a singer whose tenor has become growly but relies on no artificial enhancement. "You know, ****ing music magazines writing a review of Janet Jackson saying, 'This is the greatest show – four and a half stars.' It's ****ing lip-synced! Hello! That's not a show! I'd rather go and see a drag queen. **** off." Ouch, some pretty harsh words from one of the most successful male artists of all time to one of the most successful female artists of all time. People don't attend Janet Jackson concerts to see her sing live. They go to Janet Jackson concerts to watch her dance her ass off since she is undeniably the greatest female dancer of all time. Her dance skills were NASTY and many people, even men couldn't do it. People attend Britney concerts for nostalgia reasons and Britney's dancing in 2016 is amazing and better since 2004. Elton John is undeniably a legend and very talented but I wouldn't pay a dollar to see him. Everyone is different. I never liked his music because it doesn't appeal to me but I will never discredit his work. I do appreciate him speaking his mind and wish other artists would. Ever since she married that Muslim dude she dresses like a grandma all cover up. Her outfits are terrible. She doesn't dance as much as she used to do. If it's a live concert that's up for debate when the singer lipsyncs. I haven't seen Janet live but I bet she puts on a great show, I have no clue how much she sings live. Elton can speak his mind, I just don't see the point in publicly putting down other artists, what's the point?
