I mean I did in middle school when it was happening but as I grew up, I understood how ****ed up her life was at that point. We all know now that Britney's meltdown stemmed from severe mental issues and drug abuse. It just goes to show her character, I guess. Katy is friendly with Britney but then says this kinda **** behind her back which screams phony. Many people that mocked Britney's 2007 breakdown have never been fake and nice to her. Gaga may have shaded the lip syncing thing but you know what? Gaga is still nice enough to still attend Britney concerts. I mean ffs the girl attended the femme fatal and piece of me shows. Gaga will always love Britney and Gaga has never been low enough to drag Britney's mental illness because she herself knows how hard the music industry is. Not even christina aguilera took digs at 2007ney. Christina may have said mean things to Britney in the past but she grew up from that and they are both friendly with each other and respect one another now because they are in their 30s and grew up with each other. Because of the countless times Gaga said "I'm different, I sing live, pop music shouldn't be for lip sync-ing pop stars"/"good looking karaoke girls". She never shaded Britney directly. These kinds of punchlines Gaga says are not meant to shade anyone specific (and certainly not Britney, she adores her), it's more a way for her to boast.
