Gaga is always here but...

Gaga is always here for other people with problems, most noticeable now with the Kesha issue, but she was left all alone when she had the problem with her hip. Her manager left her, I didn't see lots of celebrities siding with her and even people were saying that it was a lie and that she had to cancel the tour due to low ticket sales (even Billboard), and even some "fans" hated on her after ARTPOP and the C2C era. So we surely have the best idol in the world. She is always there when a major thing happens, she is clear when talking about her own problems, like her rape thing and the ARTPOP mess, oh and don't forget the "Don't Ask Don't Tell". and it kinda hurts me when I see her supporting someone but still she's getting hated, no matter what she does. I know, Kesha's thing is kind of a protest and it's public, but Gaga really deserved some more support from the media and other relevant people, because she has always been the nicest. Even though, I am so so so happy that she is always there, and it makes me feel even more proud of her.

¿Qué currículum tiene ésta tarántula?

The problem is that Gaga was influential but very connected to stereotypes. That means her fans and other supporting people were seen as suporters to all her polemic side and crazy character.

I think it was that but idk. Also, the world was kinda waiting for her to fail so when ARTPOP happened it was just a liberation.

Well, she never complained about it, so I think it doesn't bother her...she probably gets that being nice and supportive to people, causes, media outlets is a choice of hers and she doesn't get to expect anything in return...

That's why being a good person is so hard. That's why I'm not one...:koons:

ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.

You brought up an interesting observation I've never noticed before, OP. It's quite sad, isn't it? My hope is that one day when Gaga is in pain, other artists will step up and speak out for her like she has done for them. She deserves all the love and support in the world.

Agreed. She has her loving fans though and to be fair, we're more important than any other celebrity could ever be

I actually think Gaga has been embraced by many sort of legendary and iconic musicians. Whether that be Tony Bennett or Sting or Elton John or Diane Warren and beyond. Even events like The Oscars have so many celebrities coming out to praise her.

The difference I see between Kesha and Gaga is that, for Gaga, any small bump in the road seemed like just that. ARTPOP was still a #1 album, Gaga was still touring the world, Gaga still had a project lined up with Tony Bennett. It just seemed like a small misstep in the career of a mega star.

With Kesha this really resonated with other artists. Being trapped in a contract where she is unable to create and release music, having her personal life and most personal trauma's dissected and relived in the public eye. That hits home for so many artists in this industry, especially with female artists.

The music industry is still so male dominated, in the words of Gaga "It's like a ****ing boys club". The top CEOs, the managers and the people in power within the music business are the men. Being trapped in a contract, being unable to make creative decisions and being forced to work with your abuser is something bigger than anything Gaga has experienced during her career.

Gaga experienced a little backlash, Kesha's career is potentially over.

It was a painful 2012-2014 for us Monsters too. Like I mean wow. The worst years of my life. My love and respect for Gaga helped me in ways I can never express in words. But I feel the world has grown up too, thankfully. People are finally recognizing Gaga's talent, dedication and her compassion above anything else. She's just this incredible force for healing and togetherness.

So true. Gaga has been in the spot where she was just so on top of it all, everyone started just wanting her to fail, it is not fair, but that is the way of our world a lot of the time.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.
