Will Gaga's music stand out aside from all this new music in 2016?

I think so. Whenever Gaga does or puts out anything, those that adore her blow it up to massive heights and those that abhor her work just as hard. Her impact is undeniable.

Adele already sold too much album, only Work from Rihanna will stand out with that promo, and JB is already at his third single.
The stars are aligned for her this time. :gaycat:

To be honest, I think most of the aforementioned releases had big expectations tied to them but most of them were underwhelming once they were actually released, especially Rihanna (what a mess of an era, everything seems improvised and just random), Sia (Meh), and Kanye West (who's apparently lost his mind). The only actual competition in terms of cultural dominance seem to be Adele, Bieber and Beyoncé. And even so, despite the huge repercussions last year, Adele and Bieber seem  to have dialed down on the exposure, having already reached and left behind the respective peaks of their current eras. That leaves us with Beyoncé (Britney is no grammy material anyways, unless she totally surprises the world and comes up with a complete reinvention of herself, which seem less and less likely).

This. The only people I can see having big eras this year are Beyoncé and Bruno Mars, if he finally drops his album. Or Katy.

If the songs are good and have applea, anything could happen.

Just look at how Justin survived to Adele and he's acqually kinda winning in the singles departement.

Everyone has and will be underwhelming so yes. And she won't have any shitty trap music so she will definitely stand out.

I have a lot of faith in her. The pop music scene is suprisingly quiet right now so she has plenty of room to shine. I wouldn't be surprised if she ended up having the biggest hits of the year.

No Kitty Purry. No T-Swizzle. Adele is past her era's peak. Rihanna flopped. I don't expect Beyonce to hit number 1 anytime soon. All we're left with are ex-Disney Channel stars (Selena, Demi, Nick Jonas) and Justin Bieber.

Adeles already released and it's been a couple months. Almost everyone I talk to is bored with her. Her album sales are strong though but I can see her slowing down by the time Gaga releases.

JB is near the end of his album promotion. He's 3 singles in already and caters to a different crowd.

I would've said Rihanna but her era ended before it even started.

Beyonce is the only real threat and maybe Katy Perry.

Awards wise it's all going to Adele and Justin though. Grammys are NOT going to award Gaga with AOTY unless she misses the cut off to avoid losing to Adele again.
