PartySick 161,229
11 hours ago, George said: She did file for sexual assault, battery, sexual harassment and gender violence in a Los Angeles court. She later amended it with an injunction against Luke and Sony as well in a New York court (claiming that Sony knew of his behaviour and didnt do anything) to break from contract, so the LA trial was put on hold until the NY trial was finished (that happened recently). The sad thing is: she is signed to Sony and RCA trough Kemosabe Records, Luke's very own label. And the music publishing rights of her songs belong to Prescription Songs, Luke's very own publishing company. So she "belongs" to Luke just as much as she belongs to Sony. Both Sony and Luke will "loose" the potential money she would make for her next albums within contract. Apparently, the judge ruled against Kesha because the contract was the typical musician contract and they couldnt break it without any proof, plus the fact that Luke's defense offered that she can fulfill the contract with Sony without Luke's involvement, but with Kesha still signed to him. So they dont meet, but he is still the boss. She would still be immersed in that toxic environment. Oooooh thanks for explaining, friend. You're stinky
Sia 314
then why wont you let her out of her contract exactly ??? Don't be insecure if you heart is pure, you're still good to me if you're a bad kid baby.
SarahYuko 1,002
How credible are those sources anyway? Whether she denies it or not, why keep her if she feels that uncomfortable around him? So many unanswered questions.
MelbHawker 6,583
I really don't know what to believe. Something has definitely happened between Kesha and Dr. Luke that has hurt Kesha in a really bad way - the only thing I do know 100% is that Kesha should be able to withdraw from the contract she's under and move on peacefully. That isn't opposite to anything that I said It shows that the convictions and people sent to jail is low and that the false accusations are also low. That chart shows exactly what we were discussing in the other thread. I thought a visual might help.

Of course law enforcement should, IF the crime is even reported, and IF the report even makes its way to the police. (On most college campuses, it doesn't even do that) Then, the police department can sit the rape kit on a shelf for decades and not bring the case to court. Meanwhile, what does this mean for all the people in the victim's life? They are left to believe them and support them.
JusKeepBreathin 19,311
Why do people quote TMZ? That's so insane. Has TMZ all the sudden become a reliable news outlet. Being caught lying in court is the biggest mistake of can make He didn't lie in court, after Gaga's HS interview he tweeted something, assumed she was raped by the same producer and media picked it up, causing Gaga's rep to deny it. It was stupid and unprofessional, but it wasn't lying in court. FreePalestine
