harassing specifically Jews is anti-semitic.

What is harrassing to you? Boycotting Jewish or ANY OTHER businesses who openly support Israeli occupation is not anti-semitic. The reasons and intentions are different.

Did you see what i wrote? They were standing specifically in front of Kosher shops.

It's like people going to Halal shops and harassing muslims who go in there because of ISIS lol

anti-semitic is not racist? It's the term used to describe hatred against the Jewish ethnicity.

I personally dont think it is racist but im using your logic against you because you believe in micro aggression and being politically correct and thats why when I made that argument against you before, you did not have any comment.

You do know that Arabs are semites right? you taking the word Semite and making it a Jewish thing is racist and very offensive specially when you accuse a Semite (me) of being anti Semite!

Anti-semitism is defined by the the hatred towards the ethnic people of the Jewish folk.

I don't know if you're aware but you just compared Israel to ISIS. teehee.png

If that halal shop has any kind of ties to Daesh, if they'd promote them or send them money, it wouldn't be only boycotted, but shut down or even firebombed.

Thats like saying Anti-Asian only means Anti China for example.. and then you accuse Japanese people of being Anti Asian if they say something bad about Chinese and if the Japanese explains themselves that they are Asian too, you give them the dictionary definition of Anti Asian witch means Anti China only!

The definition of Anti-Semitism is a racist definition made by white racist men that dont recognize or acknowledge that Arabs are also Semite and so taking that word and making it for Jews is very offensive and racist specially when you calling me an Anti-Semite. You should call me a self hating Semite if you want but you have to acknowledge that im a Semite.

I have proven how racist and sexist you are many times and gave you proof and used your own logic.

So I guess Israel can be allowed then too :)

:duck:

I mean I wouldn't care if people would want to boycott products from those countries and I would be against these new laws which are basically protecting Israel's economy (or hypothetically any other country's) and criminalizing and restricting freedom of speech and expression.

But we all know such laws wouldn't exist for any other ME country.

I'm torn on it. It's a chain or a shop's own decision on what they choose to stock and whether they wish to fund certain things. Making it illegal to not choose certain products because they don't align with your own political stance is pretty much destroying someone's right to peacefully protest. However on the flipside, if someone refused to stock say Sam Smith's album because he's gay and they don't agree with that, there would be an uproar. Same as if they refused to stock items from countries that were gay friendly.

I don't know. I think the store owner has the right to stock what they want and I understand the want to not fund Israel but it's pretty hard to verify this boycott without also showing support for others.
