Apart from protesting and using those pictures as some kind of street cred, in his 30 years of congress he hasnt made any important stride to fight for covil rights for any minority so I cant say Im impressed.

She was working under Barry Goldwater who was known for his conservatism and his stance against civil rights. She was a republican before being a democrat.
