GodKira 0
How Shakira managed to get one place behind Gaga at the last minute is nothing short of a miracle, especially considering she didn't release any music last year. Gaga got the second highest votes out of all the singers included on the poll: over 51,000 votes in just over a week. That's got to count for something. Nicki Minaj only got just over 4,000 yes votes so it's not like Gaga is exactly irrelevant in the eyes of the public. shakira has a strong fanbase! shakirians go crazy when it comes to vote. she's coming back this year, so watch out cause it gonna hurt :bite:

Darkstains 141
But look at Gaga compared to the others, she only has 23 million Twitter followers, 50 million FB fans, over a billion YouTube hits, a foundation, one of the most succesful world tour ever, a 90% sold out upcoming world tour, 5 Grammys, makes headlines with a simple tweet and hashtag; and a critically acclaimed and respected fashion and music icon and a marvelous performer! How is she supposed to be influential? :troll:
