May 22. She could drop the lead single on May 13, along with the video, and then perform it there. Keep in mind that last year BBMA's had 11M viewers, while the VMAs had 5m...it's the biggest plataform imo, after the Grammys, to debut material. She should use it :yay:

Ohhh :duck: so we gotta wait to see what happens

The BBMs are May 15 actually. So she can release it May 6.

Edit: idk some sites say it's the 22nd but others say it's the 15tg

Anything after BBMAS tbh. June/July has no promo slots & sales are low. August is next because it has the VMAS but Katy will release her lead single then. I really think she should drop it around the iHeart Radio Music Awards which are April 3rd though so that way she can release the album in May which is a high sales month.

It's never too late. You can't rush perfection :sara:

You can when Katy is releasing Q3 or Q4 ^^

Basically anytime after early March. People don't have long attention spans; especially when it comes to pop culture. They don't call it the "15 minutes of fame" for no reason...

There's no such thing. If it is a good song with good promo and a well-executed roll out, it doesn't matter if it is released a month from now or next fall.

Really, it comes down to when the album is ready and when the label wants it to be released.

If I were Bobby, I would do this:

1st single: March 25th

Album: May 20th

2nd single: June 10th

3rd single: August 26th

4th single: November 11th

5th single: February 3rd

Tour: September 2016 - May 2017

I think there should be no rush. I feel like she was very rushed the last album release it led to last minute decisions; like changing the new single from "Venus" to "DWYW". I feel like her new manager is GREAT! He supports her and is at every event, standing their having her back. I think this new single and album will be AMAZING. Of course I'd like to see the single like ASAP, but GAGA....take your time girl! #PAWSUP
