If people cannot defend themselves from attackers and another country wants to abuse them they will 100% of the time. It only makes sense that a country born from overthrowing an opressive dictator would know this best and do anything to preserve our willingness to defend our home.

Assuming you mean external forces, I'm pretty sure that's what militaries and military alliances are for - not the average citizen.  Even ignoring that, the direct cause of world war one was the assassination by shooting of Franz Duke Ferdinand so your analogy that "no guns = war" doesn't really hold well.

Accounting for safety in Europe, intentional homicide rates in the vast majority of European nations are below that of the USA's, so I don't think we have anything to worry about in that regard.

Ignorance is a dangerous thing.

America brought us McDonald's. Human killer.

You still haven't answered my question.

Stockholm syndrome? (Doesnt mean you love Stockholm by the way. Look it up.)

My "of course" was my answer :rip:  America brought us McDonald's. Tasty food that so readily availible and tasty that morons with no self control ruin their lives with it. Morons with no self control would just find something else to ruin their lives with if McDonalds didn't exist. I can't help that everyone in America has so much money and such great food that those things often collide in an ugly way, however they're still two great things on their own.

In America everyone is here to live by and die for our country and everyone who isn't is completely free to live elsewhere. That's why we have more people signing up for our military than we can handle.

It isn't though, to free ourselves from from GB every citizen was a part of the war effort, young or old. It's an attitude that never left, and it's the attitude that never left and turned into the American exceptionalism of today that allows us to do such incredible things as a nation united.

Our right to own guns and our thirst for the blood of our enemies is what created the most successful country on the planet. I'm not saying we are a nation of pacifict non-violent people but I'm saying that the violence is a necessary evil  to preserve our greateness and keep our legacy alive.

It's great that America got its autonomy and whatever (although the bolded part above is unsettling to say the least), I don't think we're going to agree on this anyway so there's probably no point continuing.

The fact is that a bigger, grander state has bigger, grander problems. Rome had insane dictators, The United Kingdom is the most hidesouly opressive and aggresively colonial reign in history, Egypt had a lack of human rights, etc etc

Some violent gun crazies by comparison ain't too bad.

There are no great things in any of what you've said.

What better way to get support from your citizens than to convince them you've given them freedom, when all you've done is force them to need you?

That is America's relationship with guns.

Americans have tons of money.

Americans have access to instant, tasty meals.

Those are two very great things.

Americans do not have lots of money. Let's not lie.

There is nothing tasty about a manipulation heavy marketing campaign to sell kids salty fat.

Just shoot them at birth.

Working on percentages alone, it's still a gun crazed loonatics playground.

People are "obsessed" with things going on in America purely because it's so insane.

People are shooting up schools regularly and the public are supporting the murderers right to have guns.

You have a borderline terrorist billionaire heading for presidency.

There is a massive chunk of America that are cult-level obsessed with Jesus.

Land of the insane, home of the depraved.

Than made me cum

Our GDP says otherwise. We're by far the most financially prosperous single country on the planet.

Yes a McDonalds burger tastes good and if you have a single burger like one or two times monthly then you won't be killing yourself. McDonalds has NEVER told people to buy massive amounts of food and go to their restaurants regularly, blaming them for any part of the global obesity problem is scapegoating. The problem is fat people, not companies that sell food to people. That's like saying Budweiser is responsible for alcoholism.

1. The poverty levels in America day otherwise.

2. Education in America sucks if you're not born rich.

3. Supersizing & marketing moves have encouraged more regular use of McDonald's. Not that I condone fatness, but yeah.. Americans are generally dumb, poor & overweight.

2. You're not American, you haven't experienced our education system so there's litearlly no ground for you to stand on there

They never told one person to eat an entire supersized combo by themselves at once or to even buy them often.

Americas obesity rates are not the worst, obese people are NOT the majority here so that's a stupid generalization. Also see 1&2 :)
