(CNN)[Breaking news update, published at 1:05 p.m. ET]

Two 15-year-old female students were killed in Friday morning's shooting at Independence High School in Glendale, Arizona, police said.

Each 10th-grader was found with one gunshot wound outside the building, near the school's cafeteria, Glendale police Officer Tracey Breeden said.

A weapon was found near the bodies, Breeden said. When reporters asked whether this was a homicide-suicide or a double suicide, Breeden said she "can't confirm anything," but she said investigators don't believe any shooter is at large.

"We don't believe that there's any suspects that are out there ... that we're searching for," Breeden said.

Breeden said she didn't know what relationship, if any, the girls had.

By the time you reach the end of this sentence, it'll be too late to realize I just wasted your time with a pointless sig.

Sounds more like a personal grievance toward the two victims. Let me guess, it is a fellow 10th grader and the motivation for the murder may be either from bullying or those two girls turned down someone. The killer is still in campus attending class or in the same hall where they assemble students when there is an emergency. If they catch the killer, the kid will go to juvi. This is just so sad.

All y'all little anti-americaners need to realize that you hear so much about American crime so much because America takes up a massive portion of a continent and almost all of it is inhabited :emma: We aren't lawless monsters, there's just more people and more people ALWAYS means more crime. Stories about anything in America also sell really well in the media because everyone else on earth is so jealous of our supremacy as a country that they're desperate to feel like that America is a worst place than it is. :rip: There's a reason we're the center of world culture and I'll give you a hint, it's not because we're a terrible, poor, unproductive country.

Working on percentages alone, it's still a gun crazed loonatics playground.

People are "obsessed" with things going on in America purely because it's so insane.

People are shooting up schools regularly and the public are supporting the murderers right to have guns.

You have a borderline terrorist billionaire heading for presidency.

There is a massive chunk of America that are cult-level obsessed with Jesus.

Land of the insane, home of the depraved.

Just stop.

The reason US stories get more coverage than most countries WW is because American culture, foreign policy, and the economy greatly impact the rest of the world.

But why? Well, anyone who's taken a basic American history class knows all the wars we've been involved with. A lot of 'modern' culture such as films and music from the US took the world by storm.

It's not because they're 'jealous.' It's simply because America is a superpower known around the world that has a lot of impact (negative a lot of the time I should add).

Now, there are America haters that want to make it look worse than it is, but I'm pretty sure that's a minority, and if not they've been mislead by the media, as most people are.

Oh, and I saw that edit. Cut the "freedom" bullshit. Many countries around the world are 'free'.

Oh, and I'm American, I think that's an important detail.
