"The relationship with Lady Gaga is she's using our technology to create an amazing experience on the world's biggest music stage - the Grammys. Her whole performance is powered by our technology. When you see it, it will be mind-blowing, and will only be made possible by our technology.

We're doing the same thing at the NBA All-Star Game next weekend- they're going to use our tech in the slam dunk contest and the game itself. It gets our tech in front of Millennials and engages them."

"The 2016 NBA All-Star Game will be the 65th edition and is an exhibition basketball game that will be played on Sunday, February 14, 2016." Wikipedia

And the 2016 Grammy Awards ceremony will be held on February 15, so, we will have a preview of technology (not gaga perf') ?

"Intel Redefines the Fan Experience for NBA All-Star Weekend 2016

Immersive, 360-Degree freeD Replays Deliver the Future of Game Watching

Today, Intel Corporation and the National Basketball Association tipped off a partnership around NBA All-Star 2016 to bring a 3-D experience to television and digital viewers as the NBA’s top players face off in Toronto, Feb. 12-14.

The NBA and Turner Sports will take advantage of the breakthrough freeD™ video format to allow fans to witness thrilling replays and highlight reels, with 360-degree views of key plays. A single video replay will allow viewers to virtually fly around the action to see it from almost every conceivable angle, providing unparalleled views into the game.

The freeD platform brings together video captured by 28 ultrahigh-definition cameras positioned around the arena into one seamless shot. FreeD replays will be available to fans watching live on TNT or following on NBA.com, the NBA App and social media.

“Innovation in technology now plays an unprecedented role in transforming people’s experiences in the world of sports, from athletes and coaches to broadcasters and fans,” said Intel CEO Brian Krzanich. “By offering sweeping views of top plays from virtually any angle, the freeD format optimized with Intel technology is allowing people to experience NBA All-Star like never before.”

“NBA All-Star 2016 is the perfect event to showcase the amazing talents of the league’s biggest stars,” said NBA Executive Vice President, Operations & Technology Steve Hellmuth. “By teaming up with Intel and freeD technology, we will be able to provide our fans on TNT, NBA.com and across social media with a 360-degree view of All-Star, capturing the most exciting plays and memorable moments.”

“With our deep roster of high-profile, premium live sports, we have the opportunity to work with best-in-class partners like Intel to create these compelling and engaging sponsorships,” said Jon Diament, executive vice president, Turner Sports Ad Sales. “New enhancements like freeD replays during our coverage of marquee events like NBA All-Star continue to build on our efforts to both deliver strong results for our business partners and create great experiences for our viewers.”

Intel’s NBA All-Star 2016 partnership is the latest in the company’s drive to bring innovative technology and amazing experiences to the world of sports. At CES 2016, Krzanich showcased how freeD video from Replay Technologies powered by Intel processor technology could be applied to a variety of sports to enhance the fan experience at home, in the stadium and on broadcast."

What I'm hoping for is star holograms that rotate around Gagz.  And when Gagz touches one of the stars music, colors and the whole scene change

Gosh, that would be epic

Did I say that? I said their visual of the AD and lightening they are using  for the stage looks cheap.

Gurl, hold your 'cheap' judgements til after the performance. I think this is going to be incredible!

Why would it effect you if one out all GGD members is questioning the performance based on what he have seen?

It really has zero effect on me at all, but I'm entitled to respond to absolutely anything I read on here given it's a public forum.
