LG5: Now is all up to the music

Is official, Gaga has managed to turn the GP on her side. Now everyone recognizes that Gaga is one of the most talented artists this generation. So the only thing left for Gaga to be successful with LG5 is the music itself. Gaga has to make sure that she delivers great music and that she showcases those vocals that everyone has been praising.

Now, not everyone will like Gaga's new music regardless of how good it may be. Everyone has different tastes and it is impossible for everyone to like something at the same time. But the goal here is for Gaga to at least deliver good music that many people will like. She can experiment with her sound and themes, but she shouldn't risk being too controversial this time around. As longs as she uses her music skills, and focuses on her emotions, there is no doubt that the GP will welcome her back to the top of the charts.

I really don't care if people like her or don't. I'd rather her approach this era doing what she wants instead of catering to anyone because that's how we'll end up with another ARTPOP.

How was ARTPOP catering to anyone tho ?

I think you are wrong. I'm actually thinking playing it safe would be a bigger career risk. It will put her on a trajectory to burn out.

Believe it or not, (especially with the slow and boring climate of pop), the general public wants crazy, ridiculous, and fun Gaga back in 2016 because no one else has effectively released a string of songs like that in a while.

If she's done the impossible with GP, she can do the same with her own material. Her biggest problem with ARTPOP was her trying to match fan supply and demand, and it backfired for everyone but the fans.

I don't want her to be safe (as I stated in my OP that I want her to experiment on her music). But I just don't want her to do something too controversial, that she will begin to alienate the GP again.

People want CrazyGa back, just as much as they enjoyed her classy, toned look. She's been doing that for basically two years now. And I have a strong belief that Gaga knows that and thus LG5 is gonna slay like no other and give us that Gaga nostalgia.

The only difference is that her vocals will be on show this time around.

Tbh I think for her age at the time, the quality of her first few albums was alright. She had some great artistry and made music that appealed to her at that point.

She isn't 24 anymore. I'm 28 in June and I'm getting tired of typical "made for clubs" songs. She surely must be.

To keep her music high quality but importantly mature and timeless, remembering she will be 30 before it's release, she will likely look to classic pop and emulate timeless auras.

An example of this in Gaga's discography is "you and I" which, unlike most of her songs, she can sing until she's dead. Let's not wish for her to become an old lady with inappropriate songs that make her look foolish on bland world tours.

Her music will have hopefully grown up looking at who she's working with. That will show her as an artist forever evolving

Songs such as "Back to black", "don't wanna miss a thing" and "candle in the wind" are entirely possible.

It's not quite like that, there's still a lot of negativity surrounding everything she does and whenever new music comes out we'll all see it again...

ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.

In a way yes. After Born This Way I remember many fans wanted for Gaga to be more dancey, care free, less political, and less experimental. And as a result, the fans somewhat got what they wanted. However, Gaga being Gaga still delivered good music that is still very somewhat edgy and weird for mainstream radio. And as you saw the GP was not here for that (I do like ARTPOP though).

She does still have a lot of negativity but this time around the negativity is in the minority. Plus she will always have some negativity no matter what because thats just how some people are (with everyone not just Gaga).

I like ARTPOP too, but the biggest example of the supply/demand phase was Aura with 'please new vocals'

It was a very weird time.
