Hope 2,030 Posted February 9, 2016 Share Posted February 9, 2016 So GeePee first found her interesting because she was different, waaaaay too different from other artists, then she went crazier and crazier (also LGBTier) to the point that GP felt embarrassed to listen to her anymore, and listening to Gaga has become a guilty pleasure for some and who likes Gaga is labeled GAY! During this time no one knew her true talent that she has a POWERFUL VOICE (sadly overshadowed by her eccentric appearance). So now she is trying to go more normal and she is trying to convert the bias to praise (and she is doing great with that job!). The short form of this as a question: Do you think she needs to stay eccentric (as in ARTPOP) or go normal as GP is asking? Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

It is captivating just because it is something so new to everyone (mostly the GP). I think going too eccentric would be a step backwards at this point. This does not mean she can't wear the occasional skimpy-badazzled one-piece. But keeping it classy or "normal" for this era might be a nice change. Anyway though, slay. I can't imagine how she feels about shifting back to her lane. We might not see the same amount of eccentricity we're used to and it might just not be her thing anymore. Music 15,215 Posted February 9, 2016 Share Posted February 9, 2016 you know what, i'm so torn. i really feel like the GP are stanning for normalGa atm - and it's kind of strange, haha! but she could most definitely have a mix of both, that'll be nice but, i think if anything, the GP will be keeping an eye on her musically - especially after yesterday's performance, they have probably educated themselves to her more recent stuff, like C2C & TIHTY.
