Can everyone post reactions from the people who watched the NA with you?

I just love hearing reactions to Gaga's incredible performances from non fans esspecially. I live for the moments when people get surprised and change their perceptions.

Here's mine:

My parents were on their way out to go to a superbowl party when the army choir was singing right before Gaga. ( they were late because my mom had to work). I excitedly said Gaga is going to sing the national anthem. My dad was like " oh she is ?!" in an excited childlike tone. My mom starting saying "Gaga" in a mocking way because i guess she still thinks her name is funny. My dad was like , "she is actually very talented" . (he is officially converted after i brought him to a c2c concert last summer). Then they just stood there and watched her sing. After she was done my mom commented on her patriotic outfit and my dad said the rockets were timed perfectly. They surprisingly didnt say anything about her voice. But my mom is very stubborn and hardly ever compliments singers.  Im just happy they stayed to watch her.

Your mom will come around eventually lol. My mom was the same way. She's always hated Gaga but after she watched the Oscars, she hasn't said anything bad about her.

I went to my mom like "OH MY GAWD GAGA SANG SO WELL" and my mom was like "uh did you expect her to sing bad?"

My dad was texting me non stop praising her to the heavens, asking if she sang live, said she was an incredible vocalist, said she should detract from the fashion and focus on vocals and just was blown away by her. 

My dad loves his divas (Whitney, Mariah, Celine, elton) so I'm not surprised he praises gaga.

my mom loved it!! she already knows how talented she is because i went with her once on the born this way ball. she did make fun of her hand movements though haha

Even the oscars wasnt enough to fully turn her. She was like, " she has a good voice but Barbara Streisand is better".

I watched it with my dad and step mom. My step mom kept saying "wow" "oh my god" and "amazing". My dad actually cried. He said it was one of the best. They kept praising her to high heavens. They're both fans as well, and were completely blown away.

I was at a very packed bar. My sister, some friends and I got there a little early so we could sit at the bar and have our seats secured for the evening.

To make a long story short: I got chills watching 100+ patrons stop what they were doing, listen to the anthem, and give her a huge round of cheers and applause ( ) afterwards.

For me, I told my mother that I needed to wake up at 7am to watch TV. She didnt know why until she ask me (which was when the game started). I told her "Oh because Lady Gaga will be singing the national anthem, wanna watch the replay?" And then I showed her the video. My mother sings chinese opera and her singing isnt really that good. Halfway through the video, it lagged. After that my mother said "Maybe I should learn the way she sings right? I should listen to her songs maybe one day I could sing like her." She said it jokingly but still SLAAAY. After like 20min, she said "I want to see the video again, just now wasnt the entire thing(because of lag)."

SLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY 

Edit: My mom also said "Ooh she looks decent in this". I'm like she's been classy for 2 years already

My mom just told me that she looks surprisingly pretty and then was confused as to why does she wear so many weird costumes when she is not ugly at all
