Carly Fiorina excluded from Saturday's ABC Republican debate

Washington (CNN) ABC announced Thursday that Carly Fiorina did not make the cut to appear at this weekend's debate, despite calls from several prominent Republicans who wanted her on the New Hampshire stage.

The network announced that Saturday's debate, which will not have an "undercard" event, will feature Donald Trump, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Ben Carson, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Ohio Gov. John Kasich.

Cruz and Carson had joined former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich earlier Thursday to call on ABC News to put Fiorina on the stage.

Romney and Gingrich pointed out that Fiorina outperformed Kasich and Christie in Iowa, but both men will still appear on stage Saturday.

She claimed she saw a video of a Planned Parenthood clinic where a "fully formed fetus was on the table, its heart beating, its legs kicking" while someone says "we have to keep it alive to harvest its brain". She was asked to provide that video and beat around the bush until she admitted she couldn't. Instead she provided stock footage of a facility (not Planned Parenthood) spliced together with a random stillborn video and a picture of a woman's stillborn child (without her permission, I might add) and basically said "Close enough! It's happening and it's what our country's culture is" or something along those lines.

Eventually she said "hey, I misspoke" but that's not just a mistake, that's a boldfaced lie  a big one 'cause that could cost millions the care they rely on.

It was during that whole scandal against PP because some bozos did some crazy editing to make it seem like they were selling "dead baby parts" (which landed them in jail, btw, because it was obviously faked). It's obvious which side she was on  Sad to see anyone against women's rights but it's particularly sad when it's a woman willing to lie to a nation for her (and others) anti-progressive agenda

I think it was a poor move so she could try to win over mega conservatives but instead it only served to hurt her credibility. It's not like she has a chance anyway. Cruz, Trump, and Rubio are pretty much the only ones on the Right that even have a shot. She, Carson, and Bush might as well pack it up and cut their losses.

It sucks too 'cause I used to like her  I thought she was one of those mythical Republicans that's not a total polarizing clown.
