Kinsey 313
I wouldn't call them racist. I think its a fair question because they ALL have the same exact last name. Also, for people of a different race it has been scientifically proven that it is far easier to identify facial differences among your own race. I don't even think this is standing up. It probably just became annoying and they made a joke about it, wether it was intended to be harsh or not.
Peroxide 9,202
Oh god that's my last name and lemme tell you that Nguyen is the most common Vietnamese last name ever, I know at least 5 other families and we're not even related.
lego 44,165
You wouldn't ask everyone with the last name Smith if they were related, would you? So when some Reddit comments asked why the Vietnamese surname is so common, informed Redditors offered an impromptu history lesson. When the Nguyen Dynasty seized power in Vietnam in the early 19th century, its leaders "awarded" the last name to many citizens. My last name isn't Smith but I used to constantly get asked if I was related to another family with the same name, so I don't think it was meant to be racist He/They

That's super interesting actually. I barely ever meet anyone with my last name. It's 'Evans' but I only know of people on tv and stuff with it. Good for them! It's very cool imo Human generated art
