I am grateful to grew up and experienced the 1990s throught, where many genres of music had chances to shine. None of these over saturation we have today. It helped me to have these vast references. Are we ready for the sound, the imagery, the technology, the promotion? Are we ready for the album cover? Knowing that there isn't a Gaga album cover (TFM/BTW/AP) that hasn't made us lose our **** and have inexplicable emotions occurring? Are we ready for the activation mode that is triggered when we hear her voice? Are we ready for the collaborations and remixes? Are we ready for the single announcements, the tour announcement, the stage design and the performances? Are we ready for the critics and GP standing and sitting uncomfortably as our queen shows what the **** is what to these ex-Disney staff members and so on? Are we ready for N-E-THING and everything?" THESE ARE ALL UNIMPORTANT THINGS. What Monsters really need to do is change their perception that these things matter. Can't it just be about the music that Lady Gaga has created not all the external things you have mentioned. Too much emphasis is put on all those things rather than what Lady Gaga is actually saying with the work. Monsters get so wrapped up in EVERYTHING except the actual music, what Gaga is saying and what she's doing. Can it not be about Gaga rather than Monsters and everyone's opinion of what she's doing? Work didn't live up to my expectation even though I can still bop to it. So I guess I'll really have to do some mental preparation before I click 'play' on anything related to LG5.
