Rebel Heart should really be the last album Madonna puts out tbh and gagas worst era was ARTPOP. so i just wanna know which album in terms of music, lyrics, production and overall sound which is better.

PS. i think even in gagas worst era she still wiped the floor with madonna

Madonna's worst before RH (and was actually suppose to be a huge flop and ended her carerr) was Erotica and that wiped all of our faves best eras.

Being a die-hard Gaga fan (a.k.a Lil Monster a.k.a. a Stan:emma:) I accept that ARTPOP was her "messy era" but still it's better than Rebel Heart (Lyrically and Musically).

Musically, ARTPOP definitely won. I'm not just talking about the singles though, I meant two compare to whole albums. I think Rebel Heart has some great songs like Iconic and Devil's Pray but still they are no match to songs like Aura and Venus which are far more ambitious and bold. Also Gaga sings better.

I adore Rebel Heart, it has a lot of diversity and I love what she did with the album, but ARTPOP is better imo. It's much more cohesive and stuff whereas RH sort of meanders on and on and just loses track of itself.

I'm biased but ARTPOP, Rebel Heart does have some amazing stand out tracks but there are so many that feel like fillers that it dulls the album

I've barely listening to Rebel Heart but even if I did I'd always choose Gaga over Madonna :laughga:

Not sure about this being Madonna's last album, though. Her (negative) stans need something to distract them from the Gaga hate :nails:

You're asking this on a website where it is 99.99998% Gaga fans, so I doubt you'll get an unbiased answer.

RH has terrible replay value. It's like, it was a good album but only in that blimp in time. ARTPOP has a few tracks that will remain memorable in her discography.

Erotica may have been disastrous in Billboard terms, but it sure was a beast of its  own kind.  It was sexually shocking and surely had the publics attention.  Its soft and hard textured melodies were so innovative and fresh at the time.

First of all, can we not compare albums from Madonna's discography to Gaga's? They're two different artists who have been compared TIMES before and it is really annoying. Thanks...

To answer your post, Rebel Heart IS NOT the last Madonna album, she has another album or two due to a contract.

Rebel Heart had more songs that made me near-cry (haven't cried in 2/3 years) than ARTPOP.

Both albums are awesome and unforgettable. I will not last without my two Rebellious Catholic queens.
