But she didn't have to explain them and their metaphorical meanings for the general public to hop on board.

She still may not. This is fan speculation, not a Gaga dissertation with IKEA directions for the GP.

Gaga has never been simple, guys. Even some of his concepts on The Fame were complex ... Like Paparazzi! She can make a good popular music, but what comes with it is always complex. :stalkga:

there is not a single simple gaga's concept.

Quite complex and intricate themes for an album that's expected to appeal to the general public.

if you say so then you have no ideas of gaga concepts in her albums, Telephone alone...

ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.

Since about a year ago when dreaming of Gaga singing a huge epic song about a hurricane whilst presented almost like a God of destruction, I had the butterfly effect in mind but couldn't place it.

If her new album is called "The Butterfly Effect" or "Chaos Theory" with themes of small shifts leading to huge effect, I wholly approve.

What an epic visual if nothing else.

I actually don't like this theme, but if it is about metamorphosis then that's   okay i guess.

I have been a fan of Gaga since 2009 and I know every concept she has ever introduced. I wasn't saying she doesn't ever have different meanings in her music or art.

What I do think is that the idea of using a butterfly's transformation as a metaphor is kind of overdone. It's not a bad metaphor, but to make it new and interesting Gaga would have to make it more complicated and I just don't think, especially after coming out of the wreckage from an album that the GP saw as trying to hard artistically, that she should be pushing such complicated or intricate metaphors and meanings when she's trying to rebuild her reputation.

Well it makes sense that she'd be think about butterflies. They have similar symbolism to the theme of rebirth that she heavily explored during the Born This Way era. Maybe she feels like she's finally reaching that point in her career that she's not just the naive caterpillar, but has actually transformed into the beautiful, winged butterfly. Free to spread her wings and fly etc etc the symbolism could go on and on

And also with Till It Happens To You it represents coming out of a tough situation as a survivor, more beautiful and free than before.

When she wins her oscar: "I promised my fans if I won this award tonight I'd release the title of my new album, *tear*, it's called, Butterfly This Way" *sings an excerpt from the title track* :laughga:

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.
