Say that in some fantasy realm Gaga was commissioned to do a five song tribute to David Bowie at an award show or some special televised event or something. What five David Bowie songs do you think would be a best fit for her to do, and in what order would she do them?

Here's my fantasy Bowie tribute:

1. Rebel Rebel

2. Let's Dance

3. Moonage Daydream

4. Fame

5. Life On Mars?

What would y'all pick?

It's all space themed.

1.Starman

2.Venus (I know it's not a David Bowie song but Gaga was defiantly inspired by him for it)

3.Life on Mars

4.Space Oddity.

The end!!

Space Oddity/Life on Mars/Heroes (an acoustic version)/Modern Love/Somebody up there likes me

These, in this order...they represent somewhat different phases of his career, the first 3 ones are very emblematic of his work, Modern Love is fun and upbeat (let's not make it all sad) and Somebody up there likes me bc I've always loved this song and it would be a big, captivating way to close the whole thing in a positive note...

ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.

It's a fantasy David Bowie tribute peformamce.  In this fantasy the performance gets acclaim and David Bowie comes out of his grave to give her the thumps up.:gaycat:

It's almost ten minutes long, and Gaga could be on piano, but this song is artistic brilliance, simply brilliant. I love the instrumental in the middle then building back up vocally.   I'm in tears by the end.  Gaga would slay on it, because few could touch the places his vocals go on this song and create the drama in this song that he does.  She could.  This is the kind of stuff I wish she would write on the next album, avant garde.
