You're disregarding someone else's opinion and trying to prove them 'wrong'.

You cannot prove someone wrong if they have an opinion.

In my messy era.

He also talked about ARTPOP as a bad decision, almost comparing it to Bieber's bad ones. I think it only was a way of saying Gaga is going to endure a process of rebirth during the new era.

Is there anything wrong with me thinking he is wrong?

While I love ARTPOP, it is in my opinion Gaga's weakest album. Sacrifice me if you must.

But does weakest immediately mean the album is actually bad?

No, but if someone thinks the album is bad, that's their opinion and right to have. Honestly compared to her other work- it is bad IN MY OPINION. But, I still love it.

take that as you will.

You just said compared to her other albums. But how about the album itself, without any comparisons?

The thing with ARTPOP stans is that they refuse to believe that ARTPOP was bad, COMPARED to her other albums. Yes, I love ARTPOP but the fact that it's her worst album may be true if you compare it side-to-side with the Fame, the Fame Monster and Born This Way. The whole era was messy and the music really wasn't "iconic" or memorable, save for a few.

I don't like it as an album, other people love it. I wouldn't use the word bad though, it's just different taste.

In my opinion, based on working in the entertainment industry, it's absolutely essential for a project to feel like a cohesive entity. And it's up to EVERYONE involved to ensure that it all comes together to represent the material in a clear and understandable manner.

Nobody on Gaga's team seemed to be on the same page with ARTPOP and that's what lead to its lackluster performance and reception. That's all there is to it. It happens all the time in the business and there is plenty of opportunity to correct those mistakes and move on. While Gaga may never be the spefic type of phenomenon that she was in 2009-2011, she has been able to produce a number of cohesive projects since ARTPOP and she has primed herself, her team, and the public for the release of a more comprehensive album.

Let's get one thing straight, he never said ARTPOP was bad bad. He didn't trash Gaga or the whole album. He said it was a bad decision and that the album was not good. "Not good" can mean average which is not always bad.  Even Gaga herself has admitted that ARTPOP is inferior compared to her first two albums.

I don't think the album is bad or average but I do agree that it was a bad decision.

Anyway... His opinion is valid and so is yours but trying to prove that an opinion about something so subjective as music taste is kinda disrespectful.
