The fact that Adele was only #9 despite 25 outselling 1989 overall sales in just less than a month after the release makes that list irrelevant.

Oh I misheard something in the video. I thought they said it wouldn't drop until November (they said "didn't").

Seems to me they made the list before 25's immense commercial triumph was made known though. They only mention how it's talked about, while obviously its commercial success should've been enough to move her to the top 5 easily.
