Granted, Linda wasn't exactly doing that and politely stated that she wasn't intending to disrespect Gaga or Diane. Still, it's sad that's all it takes to trend on Twitter and make headlines and then the fanbase gets blamed when some rabid fans tweet death threats and the media blows it out of proportion as they always do. This has created such a big drama because it would imply that Gaga was only stated as a co-writer so that she would be eligible to win an Oscar, because even if Gaga still sang TIHTY but wasn't credited as a writer and it won the Oscar, the Oscar would go to Diane, not Gaga. The thing is, Gaga and Diane have talked numerous times how Diane presented the practically finished song to Gaga, and then Gaga tweaked a few bits, changed some lyrics and also created the melody. It's created some unnecessary drama and got quite a lot of fans very angry because its not exactly very good press for Gaga or the song, especially with the Oscar nomination.
