Creyk 16,836
Even 3 years later, people still use the phrase "music not the bling" whenever someone becomes a flop, as a way of validating that music's existence in the face of it's commerical underperformance. I find it really cool that this phrase and "reverse warholian expedition" are still used, not to mention the whole Yaaaas Gaga thing. Gaga ha power, her iconic phrases are forever stored in our minds

AlexanderMagno 10,746
But who says "music not the bling" outside GGD and probably ATRL? Â Â ARTPOP had an enormous impact though. Artistic expression from major pop artists has become a thing, a real thing, even if it's just an excuse for their floppy albums or messy eras. Â (I'm sorry if the thread was for laughs only, couldn't help it )
