What the hell do you think anyone votes for someone for? You think people are gonna go vote for Donald Trump with the tagline "Well, I guess I'll sit at a podium for four years"? You think people are gonna go vote for Ted Cruz hoping to hear speeches like "Well yesterday I had chicken salad for dinner, and thought about passing a law to change 4th Street to Hamilton Ln."? People vote for a candidate because they're going in with the hope that this will be the person to change the country for the better. But because Bernie is a message of liberal hope all of a sudden it's just young millenials with heads stuck in rainbows? You can miss me with whatever that is.

Why did you change my post? Don't you have proper arguments anymore? Is it why you're acting childish?

^ when you don't get the joke :neyde:

And actually I agree with you, like I said the aspects of socialism are nice but history has proved that it doesn't work. Except for France I guess. :hor:

If Bernie makes it work, then great! And I'm not acting childish, this is literally me on every thread. :laughga:

Well, I guess it is childish... since children are always asking others if they're tryna smash :derpga:

Well, I'm not english-native so I guess I didn't get the reference :laughga: But it was more because you were serious in the other posts and suddenly said that :gaycat:

Well, it worked in France, it was kinda working in Spain (but their huge black market led them to the ruin), I don't know enough about the Greek case to speak about it.

And I'm not even a pro-Bernie nor pro-socialism, I'm just looking the US with my foreign eyes and study politic this way.

Right, because what we really need in this economy that is still struggling to get out of the great recession is higher taxes and making college degrees effectively pointless and taking away peoples' rights to invest in themselves...

Because in order to fix a struggling economy is to not invest in the people who spend to make that economy work in the first place?

These aren't little ideologies that will never happen. They're logical policies that have been used by the government in the past.

There is a difference between making college affordable and making it mandatory. And to say that college needs to be kept some special thing that only a select few can do shows a gross ignorance of what types of jobs the U.S. will be creating in the future and what we'll need to do to compete in the global market.

Cher is being stupid. I hate when people vote for Hilary just because she's a woman, I don't know if cher is but she's not bring smart.

- Sanders isn't trying to dismantle capitalism. He's socialist, not communist.

- I didn't compare him to Obama, I compared your fear-mongering to other, less altruistic, fear mongering.

- I don't think it will be easy at all, did I say that? Please, quote me.

- I don't think the president could snap his fingers and make anything happen. He could, on the other hand, drive discussion towards more topics like the right to healthcare, an increased minimum wage, reforms for jails, and a lot of other topics.

Capitalism and socialism are opposing schools of thought. Do you even know what you're talking about?

You literally compared his situation to Obama when they are nowhere near similar. Just because I'm saying the truth, doesn't mean I'm fear-mongering either.

The entire stance of Bernie is to impose socialist ideas. I also sincerely wish people would stop thinking that's going to solve all their problems. Money doesn't grow on trees. Universal healthcare and free education come at the price of higher taxes. Socialism essentially ends up strangling entrepreneurship and limiting innovation in the name of solving short-sighted problems that will inevitably spawn more problems of their own.

Whatever. I'm not here to give you a political science lecture on Gagadaily.

Again, even if he wins, he'll most likely be incapable of accomplishing anything. Just my two cents.

He is far from a socialist, and I think Cher has had enough of twitter.

I'm also not here for gays defending Hillary, who most certainly did not give a **** about the LGBT community before running for President. In fact, she disagreed with marriage equality not too long ago.

I don't think some of you realize that we still PAY for health care, as Americans. 3 trillion dollars a year one way or another. In ten years that's 30 trillion.

Y'all want to know what Hillary tried to use as an attack against Bernie? That his plan would cost 15 trillion (over a ten year period). Um ?

How the **** do you think Canada and Europe are still working fine with free PUBLIC college and universal health care? It works.
