Didymus 34,380 Posted January 7, 2016 Share Posted January 7, 2016 So Parisian police has shot a man carrying a knife and an explosion belt (shouting Allahu Akbar) running into a police station in Paris. Keep in mind, it's the anniversary of the terror attack on Charlie Hebdo. After the shooting, a police robot investigated the site (picture below) to check for explosives. The explosion belt turned out to be empty. After the shooting, the northern Paris neighborhood has been shut off and people on streets were ordered to take shelter in stores, while the stores were then closed. Children were sent into schools, also closed off. Several metro stations were shut off, though it's not clear if this is related to the terror attack. The (dead) suspect can't as yet be identified since he carried no papers. The knife he carried, however, was identified as a meat cleaver. Belgian reporters tweet: "You can hear police sirens all over the place again" "The tension has risen again. Now we have to wait for the investigation." Like, if you compare it to Israel and all the people who were "just" armed with knives, they were all shot (dead) too, mostly because it's almost impossible to shoot someone in the leg or whatever. Where do you draw the line between criminal acts and terrorism btw? He had IS material on his phone. Edit: Mess, that's already been proven wrong. Not justifying it though, seemed like the best thing to do especially what has just happened in the city. However, if he wanted to be an idiot, he should pay the consequences... and he did. And apparently police don't matter in your world? Even if it was a "joke", **** this guy. If he's stupid enough to do this then its probably best he got shot.
