Happy to see virtually everyone pointing out the BS. :applause:

I'm not a woman. I'm not a man. I am something that you'll never understand.

Name one other artist that has consistently gotten bigger their entire career without falter. Obviously the only reason why they compare the two. Sad for everyone elses favs

I think Taylor is fine with her tour, album sales, singles sales, video views etc

I hate the media.

And after sometime they will treat Adele the same way they're treating Taylor. Its a Mess.

If she makes Taylor look like a nobody, she makes every other artist look like nothing but worms in the ground.

Like, Taylor had the best selling album of 2014, and Adele had the best selling album of 2015. But both of them sold way more than other female recently.

I'm glad everyone is pointing out that this is BS. Nobody can deny Taylor's slayage throughout all of 2015 and part of 2014. Hate her or love her, she has moved albums. She's dominated the airwaves. Her tour was successful.

I guess the idea is to say "Adele is so successful even Taylor looks bad next to her," but it comes off as putting Taylor down. I don't really like Taylor, but I don't think it's right to act like she's suddenly unimportant. She's proven herself to be a contender in pop music.

Even though I'm not a fan of either of them, even I can see how ridiculous and transparent the media can be at times. It'll only be a matter of time before they do this to Adele, when the next big act comes along that sells 20 million+ albums. And naturally, male artists don't experience this problem. There's room for all of them at the top, apparently, but when it comes to females, they have to fight to the mataporical death, because there can only be one to rule them all. God forbid we have different artists for different tastes, moods and needs. It's odd how this is the only kind of celebrity career that we keep these tabs on and measure them against one another. You don't see us do the same for, say, movie stars. And it's something we don't question.
