Dangerous Man 9,245 Posted January 4, 2016 Share Posted January 4, 2016 Accordingly, winning these 4 major awards (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony) is the grand slam of the show business. So far only 12 people achieved this feat (16 if we include the non-competitive awards). So for Gaga, it's possible for her to get an Emmy and an Oscar (well, she already has 6 Grammies) but I am not sure if she will involve herself in Broadway theatre in order for her to get a Tony. She really has the potential to be respected on that field (her Sound of Music tribute is one of the major proofs). However, i don't know if she'll enter that field. But you know, she can do it as a side project. Surprisingly, her "side projects" are the ones that giving her much praise and acclaim (C2C, AHS). But it would be great if she were nominated at least once for all four categories as only 54 people have ever been nominated for all four. One other pop girl has three Cyndi Lauper. Cher has three too but I don't think she was ever really considered a pop girl.
