Have fans ever actually predicted anything? Like her current use of the caterpillar emoji, have there ever been any hints like that before that actually happened to be real hints to an era? The only time I ever was was when she posted a picture of 12:59 and it was to show that the 13th track from BTW was going to be a single (You and I). That's about it though. I do remember some people picking up the hint of "Marry The Night" as a title when she typed it on the number pad of a phone in a monstervision. She also hinted at Electric Chapel but I don't think we got that one. EDIT: She also tweeted Applause lyrics in 2012 IIRC.
