Was randomly having a Gaga 'live' fix and remembered this beauty...but something struck me this time round.

After singing Just Dance at the final show of the Rose-land Ball, Gaga has a little moment with the audience about longevity and her place in the industry but this time I just friggin wept for some reason. A few quotes:

"I remember after this song came out, everybody was saying (Cute af voice) 'Who is Lady Gaga? I mean a year from now she's not going to be around anyway."

"And then they said 'oh, it would be one more year' but every year they say the same damn thing. 'Will she be here next year?' Well, who's to say really but you better enjoy me while I last. Just like this venue, someday it will be over, but I'm not going anywhere."

Also, at 49:21:

"You know, people can say whatever they want about each and every one of you. They can talk a lot of ****. But you know what will never leave you? Is your passion and your talent. So do me a favour. When you feel bad, you sing louder."

"And until you die, just like this place is doing tonight, remind the world who the **** you are."

After learning about the **** she has been through, I now finally understand where she's coming from. TBH first time I watched this I thought she was just being cheesygaga but after seeing her actually pick herself up and do everything she just did in 2015 regardless of the backlash she got from her team, the GP, contemporaries and even fans, these quotes just have some sort of magic about them now (especially the last two). You can just tell that she is not just speaking to her fans, but every single word that left her mouth she thought long and hard about and she was also having like a religious experience during the moment - weird IK I don't know how else to phrase it.

Needless to say that I'm just even more excited for what's to come - happy new year!
