Many medical experts in Gaza are worried about a rise in the number of registered Gazan cancer patients, especially in the agricultural areas. They warn that children are more susceptible to diseases such as leukemia than adults in such regions. Gaza Strip has been under Israel’s blockade since June 2007. The crippling siege has caused a decline in living standards as well as unprecedented levels of unemployment and unrelenting poverty." What needs to be stressed is that Gaza has a long problem with (illegal) pesticides already, without Israel's involvement (though you can of course argue that because the blockade, agriculture was ruined from the start). Which is why I think it's actually pretty stupid to blame Israel for everything when, in reality, it's the intentional looking away of other nations that's really the problem. Not saying Israel's actions over the decades haven't been disgusting, but when you're not gonna discipline your children, they will keep taking from the cookie jar and honestly, who can blame them.. Edit: I'm aware I'm completely ignoring how both Israel and Western powers gain from their alliance, but I don't think that negates my point necessarily. I mean, honestly, the major reason why Israel's crimes go unnoticed large due to the U.S.; our tax dollars go into funding Israel's war. While it's easy to say "just let them live", Palestine also wants a handful of the region for themselves, especially considering that they have lost a **** ton of land since Israel integrated. They have done a great deal of damage to Israel as well; neither end is innocent. They have tried to do a two-state solution before, but Palestine wanted Jerusalem, which a city Israel will never give up do to its religious importance. Sadly, I don't think there's a real compromise that can be reaches until both states decide that making Jerusalem an international border is okay. It would be nice if you could provide any information about him, thanks. This "news" unluckily to happen because Israel is importing fruits and vegetables from farms in Gaza year-round because it's cheaper than to buy from farms INSIDE Israel.. this is why inside Israel they are destroying a lot of corps every year and why the farms in Israel are kinda poor..
