The Balcony by Catfish and The Bottlemen and Born To Die by Lana Del Rey are my favourite debut albums, but The Fame is very close behind them. In terms of strict pop music, it's my favourite.

I think so, and it's respective era is possibly the best solo pop act debut era ever since Britney's debut-

I still miss her simplicity and love of plastic pop with hidden messages, and how she used to praise pop music to the high heavens when mainstream america was praising rising indie acts- now she's done a 180 and drags down mainstream pop and praises independant musicians

In the realm of mainstream pop, yes.

I think so because it's so ****ing fresh and timeless, expertly produced (best produced album she has had so far imo) with epic songwriting, great vocals and surprising variety (something a lot of people here forget/ignore) So many musical influences as well. Just spectacular for a pop release in general.

Also the lyrics  Amazingly tongue-in-cheek and so many lyrical parts that get stuck in your head. It's really Gaga's best album to me and definitely the best debut pop album I've heard, ever. So underrated in this fanbase it's an embarrassment to me.

It doesn't even feel like a debut album to me. It's like she's been doing it for years when you listen to it. So confident and pitch perfectly executed. That's really special for a debut album.

Undoubtedly. As far as music goes, it's by far the most interesting album to be released at its time, and even 8 years later, it's still an incredibly easy fun album. I'd rank it up there with BOMT, if not better.
