Have you ever met Gaga?

I've met her backstage in Manchester after waiting eight days at the venue. Because a friend held my spot while I was being a tourist,  I let him have the key. Gaga had a plane to catch not long after the show, but she still invited a **** ton of people backstage so we had to go back in groups. We were the first group to go back and she spent the most time with us. Instead of professional photos that everyone else got, we got a quick point and shoot photo as a group. She looked miserable in the second group's photo.

We had a group discussion where we could openly ask her questions, like sort of an interview. It wasn't until later that we realized she quoted Aura. My friend (key holder) asked her how big Taylor's D was and she paused, kinda giggled and said, "It's more than enough..." This was also the show  before she decided to shave part of her head and get tattooed at Guggenheim. Everyone in the room said not to, including Breedlove and Starlight. Freddie even said that he couldn't bear to do it. I was the only one in the room to agree, "It's just hair, it'll grow back. Do what you want!" (paraphrasing) - Everyone laughed in agreeance, and I guess at some point Freddie was convinced because it happened. Hate me yet? :toofunny:

There was an annoying guy that kept asking questions that answers we already knew. Eventually you could tell Gaga was getting annoyed because this was a group discussion and he was hijacking the meet and greet. Gaga's eyes can tell A LOT. It's like she can pierce your soul by a simply glare. Kinda scary. Her voice... I didn't even know she was already in the room when we arrived. Her overall aura, personality and VOICE are completely different than when she's on stage. She has a light, sweet little itty bitty voice and it's super cute.

I remember a fishnet-shaped scab on her right knee. She was naked under a robe. And it was strange seeing her in person (for the first time) as a brunette. She had chipped red nail polish on her cute little tiny feet. It made me melt. LOVE her feet. (I don't have a foot fetish.)

I was the only one that was able to get a quick autograph. I just wanted to have it tattooed. I said, "Write the first thing to comes to mind," and of course she wrote ARTPOP. I said, "Could you sign it too?" and she responded, "Oh, you want me to sign it?" and I said "Well... yeah?" and she did, but it was a bit sloppy because the pin wasn't working properly. She was so ****ing out of it high, high af. At first, she tried to write with my e-cigarette. I laughed and said "Uh... that's an E-cigarette."

I've never seen her with an e-cig before, until Guggenheim. Hmmm. Coincidence?

-----

Gaga had another Q&A session at the original artRAVE in Brooklyn. I sat right in front of her. I thanked her for having me there and briefly explained how much I appreciated it. She looked right at me. I could tell she was listening, and then she carried on with the Q&A.

------

I met her again briefly outside of her hotel during the Roseland shows. She was dressed head to toe, even her face and hands were covered. She grabbed my hand just before she went inside. At first, it was only a few of us and suddenly, people rushed out of no where. Gaga was kind, trying to allow time for seflies and such, and a group of people were angry because she wasn't paying attention to them. I didn't hear it, but apparently someone called her a "PUTA." It wasn't until Peter came out angrily demanding the know who the person was that I found out. By that time, the massive group had dispersed.

-----

I saw her again at Joanne the day that I had reservations. We were briefed just as we were walking in and was told not to talk to her because she was having dinner with her family. She was there at the bar with Taylor, as well. You all know how I feel bout Gaga. I am happy she is happy, but also sad because it isn't me. LOL! I sat down at my table, out of sight from Gaga, and just broke down. I ran to the bathroom and saw them as they were leaving. I left a puddle of tears on the bathroom floor. How tragic.

-----

At the first Cheek to Cheek show, I saw Mr. and Mrs. Germanotta who were seated near me. Terry Richardson accompanied them. I briefly introduced myself to Terry, as her parents were having a conversation. Once Mr. Germ was no longer engaged, I introduced myself to him. He was super kind (also not the first time I had met him.) I explained that I had a very special gift to give to Gaga and would like to get it to her. He asked where I was seated, and then promised to come to my seat after the show to collect it. He held his promise. Gaga did eventually get the  gift and then followed me on Twitter on my personal account. She also RT'd something I wrote on my Monster Movement Twitter account.

-----

That night, The Dirty Pearls were playing at the Gramecy. I went to that show and Gaga happened to be there with a few friends. Before she got on stage to perform, a girl had asked for a photo. I was oblivious to this, because I was engaged in conversation with Breedlove. I was actually asking HIM for a photo (ready, in selfie mode). He took my camera and tried to snap a photo of Gaga and I, but sadly, it was in selfie mode. Argh, I'm so stupid. She was trying to get my friend Derek in the photo as well.

-----

I knew Gaga was also going to be at the Rainbow Room to perform with Brian Newman. After the last Cheek to Cheek show, she showed up and did an impromptu performance (as people say). It wasn't impromptu because it was already secretly planned. Anyway, I stood in front and cheered them on as I was having a conversation with Brian. Later, I said something and Gaga looked up and scanned the room. She saw me and kinda smirked.

THAT'S ALL. The last two weren't really "meeting" Gaga, but more so interactions and accomplishments.

----

The first "interaction" was in Grand Rapids at the Monster Ball. I have her the "horns" and she did them back and smiled.

What About Us

The closest I've ever gotten to talk to Gaga was her own sister and Tara Savelo.

Promise I'll always be there. Promise I'll be the cure.

Wauw, I totally remember this! I honestly thought you were related to Sarah (sister or something) or in some other way connected with Gaga because she was hanging out with you like this, that's so awesome! It would be my dream to chill at a bar with her.

I'm not complaining either, I've met Gaga a couple of times.

S:crossed:ORRY I JUST COULDN'T STOP RAMBELING ON :crossed:

First time was backstage at the Monsterball in Newark. I had won a competition and got to film fans and meet her after the show. There were about 30 of us waiting in a dressingroom, mostly employees of Virgin I think,  till about 2 AM. She got the staff to  bring us beer in tubs of ice, candy and a platter of roast meat and grilled vegetables because it took so long. We were guided to a hallway, she was sitting at the end of a line of about 20 more people on a stool, posing for pictures. Most people didn't really talk to her and she looked so tiny and tired wearing nothing but her huge leather jacket. I had a big bag of gifts and got so nervous I didn't get to give it to her. But no worries. We were introduced and in my plotlines I shook her hand haha instead of giving her a hug lol. I told her I brought her vinyl records and she got really excited pulling them out of my bag, admiring the covers. She really loved it, even called over Joe to take a look. I talked about the artists a bit. I noticed someone signaling we had to wrap it up, but she was so excited it was so cute. I mostly just smiled like a dork. Then they took out picture. I told her the huge amount of Dutch waffles was for her Dutch security as I walked away. Peter came after me, scared me when he tapped my shoulder and then thanked me for the waffles. we had a litttle talk, he was so sweet.

The next time we met was when we connected when I was frontrow at the BTW ball in Amsterdam. She looked at me a lot during Hair, it was really emotional. I had made a ponytail shaped like a metal chain all made of fake hair and made a crown of plastic white marihuana leaves with pearls and diamonds. She said Ive had my eye on you, your Princess Jasmine hair is really exciting. Then she got my on stage for Princess Die.

I was so excited that the hair I came up with months before and thought she would love, impressed her so much. It was a dream come true to have her love something I made for her.

It was scary to look out in that big crowd, but so comfortable being next to her. But the whole thing was so crazy haha, if I could do it all again I would try to relax a bit more. It wasn't her, but the crazy circumstances, don't like the attention haha.

She kept my tiara and wore it during Electric Chapel and grabbed it again for You and I, it was frickin awesome.

The next night she spotted me in the crowd and waved at me. Since she was so obsessed with my hair I dediced to throw it on stage, knowing she might notice it backstage and have a giggle over it. But she noticed it sooner and it was supersweet:

Roseland:

I designed Gaga two shirts for her birthday, metal style, one with her dad one with her mom. I had them in my bag while shopping in NYC cause I wanted to get a giftbox or something pretty. My plan was to leave them at Joanne's for her the next night. I was getting hungry and cold but was close to Roseland and dediced to take a pic of the venue and I bumped into Joe and Cynthia! Got the courage to tell them I had a gift for their daughter but they politely refused. Then I went around the block and heard Gaga rehearing. Waited out with only a few fans, freezing but so much fun. When she came out, completely covered cause she was sick, she was so sweet. I didn't ask for a picture, I just handed her the shirts and wished her Happy Birthday. She said thank you. I was short but sweet.

The next day this happened. I nearly died:

I still had dinnerplans at Joanne's that night so I decided to bring Natali the same shirts I made her sis. And to my suprise Nat, Cynthia and Joe were all there. Cynthia apologized for 'blowing me off' on the street haha and told me how much Gaga loved the shirts. So sweet. She kept asking me my name. The next morning Gaga liked my post about the shirt on Littlemonsters.com. it only got 4 likes before so I knew her mom told her my name. They are so kind!

Tattoo

When Gaga left Amsterdam after Artrave after we waited at her hotel for days. When she came up to us, I asked her to write Marry the Night on my arm to get it tattooed. She kindly did and gave me a kiss. I got both tattooed.

Crazy thing was she had just tweeted this:

I posted my tattoo on Littlemonsters.com and she left me the sweetest message.

http://bplane.co/dY29Ir

The next day she got her monster paw tattoo. When she showed it at Artrave in Hamburg I was frontrow and she kept lookin at me, making me feel she recognized me. It really made me feel that connection we share really is true and it's powerful.

I feel I get her and she gets me. I never expect anything, never push and shove for a picture with her, yet we always end up connecting in some way. I'm a lucky bitch.

Loving these stories!

I met her twice. The first time was at the Born This Way album signing on release day in Union Square, NYC. I waited on line with friends since around 10pm the night before. Around 8am the next day, everyone in line was handed a bracelet to return with later that day to get in line to meet Gaga. I was near the end of the line of hundreds. When I finally got to meet her, I was super nervous because not only was I meeting the celebrity of my dreams, but it was all being live streamed!

When I went up to meet her, we briefly talked. She was seated and mostly listened, I'm guessing because she was tired and had to save her voice. She's a lot tinier than you'd expect - small body, arms, body frame. Very soft cute voice as others mentioned. She was so genuinely happy to meet everybody that day - she was always smiling and you could tell she was actually enjoying being there with every one. I really believe that the beginning of the BTW-era until around the time of the Y&I video was the happiest I've seen Gaga throughout her career, and I'm so glad to have been able to meet her when she was happiest.

After listening to a few things I said, she signed my copy of BTW by addressing it to me and writing Love Gaga on it, which I then smudged a little bit from my nervous sweaty hands. :flop:

The second time I met her was at the GAGA x TERRY book signing in NYC a year or two later. There's not really much more to say about this because it was very similar to my first experience. A lot of monsters came dressed up to this event, which made her really excited at times.
