Whispering 18,865
Beyonce is in between eras. I'm sure she will come back when she is ready and sell lots of albums and have success with her singles, at least on Urban formats and in the R&B world...and have another highly successful tour. She's a nice performer but not someone to follow.. it's only a nice dance moves, diva attitude and a fake feminism.. Her songs are kinda the same, especially lyrically. 1.) You say she's only successful in the US yet most of her dates from her last solo tour were in Europe and she grossed $41M there. Hmmm, that's pretty successful. 2.) She's easily among the Top 5 best performers of our time. Critics have hailed her as one of the best performers one our time so I don't think you're correct there either. 3.) Oh so you're telling me 7/11 sounds like Halo? Let's compare them lyrically, shall we? Halo Everywhere I'm looking now, I'm surrounded by your embrace. Baby I can see your halo. You know you're my saving my grace. You're everything I need and more, It's written all over your face. Baby I can feel your halo, I pray it won't fade away. 7/11 Shoulders sideways, smack it, smack it in the air Legs movin' side to side, smack it in the air Legs movin' side to side, smack you in the air Shoulders sideways, smack it, smack it in the air Smack it, smack it in the air Legs movin' side to side, smack it, smack it in the air Smack it, smack it in the air Those are almost exactly the same! LoveandMagic 1,731
No, I think she will be fine. She's pretty respected by a lot of artists in the industry and seems to get almost constant praise in the media. When her next album hits I'm sure it will do very well, but even if not at the least her tour will be praised (she is a consistantly solid live act and a definite crowd pleaser). She also has a very large and loyal fan base. I think the thing we have to remember about her is that she has been in the industry for quite a while and is the fresh new "IT" girl, because of this there isn't massive amounts of hype from her management and label trying to build and keep a momentum going. She's already established the type of artist she is and people have an idea about what to expect, so there isn't as much focus on her (that and she is in between cycles and projects). The only thing I've noticed is my flop local pop station apparently never heard any songs by her other than Say My Name or Crazy in Love. We have the laziest DJs. Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

Single Ladies steps on, eats for breakfasts and destroys Applause, so let's not. ♢ Social Justice Enthusiast ♢

I don't think every song she does has to be huge for her to be relevant. I thought she was over after 4 (even though I love that album but HATE that name) but then BEYONCE happened and I was proven wrong. So I'm only expecting it to continue. I never stated that Beyonce didn't have a big career. ..Madonna is not relevant now. That doesn't mean that she wasn't HUGE in the past. 2)Every artist has a different career.. Beyonce for example had "4" exactly after Sasha Fierce that didn't even have a decent hit and then she made Beyonce that was big in album-sales and had a decent hit. Gaga's third era (BTW) was a lot bigger than "Sasha Fierce" is you want to see it that way. And I am sure that Gaga's next album will be a lot bigger than ARTPOP

I always confuse those lyrics! 1. it's so easy to sold out for a USA performer in Europe, even Rebecca Black can do it lol I was talking about the radio plays and music videos plays on the channels.. she's nowhere to be found there.. 2. So? critics says what they want, I don't have to agree with them.. My opinion is not something "correct" or not, it's an opinion, maybe all the world can like something, but I don't, because some things bothers me.. and it's fine and you don't need to be aggressive with me 3. Halo sounds like every love song of hers, and 7/11 is the exact copy of Get Me Bodied.. Again, I find her songs very similar, it's not a crime. And why you are taking so personal and so aggressive with me? lol it's not like she's going to defend you or me when we need.. she's only making money from us and getting rich like every other singer in the world I could play the moderator, I can ban you, die sis. elijahfan 24,877
I would have thought so after her "4" album, but she very intelligently switched things up with "BEYONCÉ". I'd say she's professionally in a really good place right now, her next record will smash.

I mean most of the GP think Gaga hasn't done anything since Applause, maybe even before (apart AHS maybe lol) I think Beyoncé set herself quite high with BEYONCE, she tried something very daring with that kind of release. I think Gaga is in a very good place too. Bookmark me, Beyoncé and Lady Gaga are the next two hit artists in 2016.
