That meant that the campaigns could see each others’ information. But only the Sanders campaign accessed data that was proprietary. According to people briefed on the matter, four different user names associated with the Sanders campaign conducted 25 separate searches of the Clinton data. The staffer who viewed the data was fired, the Sanders campaign confirmed. However, the DNC confirmed that four Sanders staffers accessed the data and the committee backed up NGP VAN's claim that this was an isolated incident. .. The DNC is ridiculous as well to try to undermine his campaign to eliminate any risk of competition for a candidate that they know a lot of people hate passionately. This is a desperate attempt by the Clinton campaign to smear Bernie's unprecedented campaign. The voter database only had a firewall for protection, and the DNC rep admitted to a previous fault in their security. Yet that piece of info tends to be left out. I'm going to wait for more info, but this will not affect my opinion of him. He's the most honest politician in this race, and his policies resonate with the middle class.
