Key to understand why Palestinians support the attacks:

"66% of the public (71% in the Gaza Strip and 63% in the West Bank) believe that if the current confrontations develop into an armed intifada, such a development would serve Palestinian national interests in ways that negotiations could not."

"50% of the public (61% in the Gaza Strip and 43% in the West Bank) believe that if the current confrontations develop into wide scale peaceful popular confrontations, such a development would serve Palestinian national interests in ways that negotiations could not."

"51% of the public (62% in the Gaza Strip and 43% in the West Bank) believe that if the current confrontations stay as they are now, they would serve Palestinian national interests in ways that negotiations could not."

When Western politicians like Clinton promise to outlaw BDS, boycotting Israel, the only non violent way to protest against this occupation - what kind of message does that send to Palestinians?

When they are being burned alive and Israeli state does not consider terrorism, when there are different laws and punishments for Israelis and Palestinians (for same crimes), what kind of message does that send to Palestinians? What is there left for them to do? To submit and die as sheep? They are dying anyway. They are being killed every day.

I don't get what this title is suppose to show, that they should be wiped off?

As many comments always suggest.

I don't get it.

BDS is actually violent. The demonstrations here screamed to stab Jews even here. Sounds really like a non-violent organization!! They are standing in front of Kosher supermarkets and hand out their flyers. Those are microagressions.

Like we are? you are a Lebanese Arab lol

I think you've seen enough of my posts to know that I don't like to be tagged as Arab. At this point it seems you're just being an ass about it. Just saying.

Despite all the political drama, most Lebanese are highly civilized people. If you think otherwise then you're being outright ignorant. The notable exceptions are the terrorists in the South. Oh well.

I think you misunderstand what "civilized" means too.

History supports this.

Standing in front of supermarkets and giving flyers is violence? Right.

The whole idea behind BDS is not violent and when you ban that too, what is there left? The whole world turned back on them. No one cares. They don't have greatest military power supporting them with billions of dollars and weapons. The real reason BDS is problem to politicians is because it hurts Israel's economy. Not because of flyers in front of stores.

it's microagression. If they gave away islamophobic paper in front of a muslim store, you wouldn't condemn it?

The idea might be in your opinion not violent. But the truth is something different. They are rude and attack Jews wether they Israeli or not.

Call for boycotting Israeli products is not antisemitic. Same way if someone spread flyers with boycotting Saudi oil or whatever.

You have different definition of what antisemitism is and it often includes criticizing zionism and Israeli state, it seem like there is no consesus even among the Jews.

Individuals should be held responsible if they are violent, but normal people should be allowed to spread awareness and call for boycott when they are not attacking anyone. That is not antisemitism.

Yes I can because there is definitions to everything and by using philosophy, we can make make a rational argument without being a semite but guess what? I am a semite! Also, Zionism is a political movement and not a race.

When they do it in front of a Kosher shop ,because Jews shop there, it is.

Anti-Zionism and Anti-semitism often goes hand in hand.

also i think it's funny how they concentrate so much on the Jewish state while they aren't any protest actions against Saudi Arabia for example. That's double standard.
