How do you feel about the #ImNoAngel campaign and fashion show?

Considering how many viewers Victoria Secrets Fashion show lost this year, (it lost three million viewers compared to last year) do you think the GP has grown tired of promoting unattainable standards of beauty? Did you like the #ImNoAngel campaign?

Well it certainly does look refreshing, and amazing imo, I'd preffer to watch that rather than the actual VS Show, even tho I don't watch those kinda shows. But it would be nice to see it on tv, I think most of people would accept it well as they should

The VS Angels work hard to maintain their bodies and they all look amazing and deserve to be exposed to the world for one night. No one is saying all women should look like them. They are obviously special since they are up there on the most famous fashion show around the world. The VSFS is broadcast in like 190 countries, I believe.

Women are beautiful in different ways. The woman in this #ImNoAngel campaign is very sexy despite her not having the 'perfect' body.

What I usually see is that these campaigns try to bring down actual models who work hard for their achievements and I don't agree with that.

I think that fat shouldn't be promoted because it's actually unhealthy..But on the other side they shouldn't promote skinny either.. Why can't the just get girls with an average weight..?

I get what you are saying and it makes sense. But average size in the US is 10 to 18. Those girls walking the runway in the I'm no Algel show are of average weight.  The problem is we don't see girls of average weight on TV so we think that they look extremely heavy.

This girl is heavy.. The fact that an average girl in America looks like this means that America has a weight problem. I am not really saying she looks ugly because she looked pretty confident and not really bad or something.. But I think that people should start putting their health higher than food..

The thing is that it's been shown that these companies tell these girls they have to be skinny or they are too fat. I respect the VS angels and support their body shapes if they are being healthy! If they are attaining that body in an unhealthy manner, then I blame the companies cause they are pressuring them.

I think the #NoAngel is attacking beauty standards and the industry not the individual models.

I love the vs models. They deserve what they have. I think it's nice to have regular models, but what's the point of bashing people who are more than normal.

I think the Angels have a far too punishing regime that's ultimately damaging to the body, not to mention the self esteem. So many of them don't eat anything and rely purely on juicing in the run up to a show and they exercise for several hours everyday with no room for any sort of treats. They aren't even allowed alcohol. I'm sure that most nutritionists would agree that we should treat ourselves sometimes and there's nothing wrong with treats as part of a balanced diet and exercise regime. But the Angels seem to do nothing but punish themselves. Apparently, a new Angel got sacked for not trying hard enough and the manager sent her a text saying something like: "when you were out at a club drinking cocktails, Adriana Lima was doing 1000 sit ups." That's just digusting and dehumanising. It's no use having the perfect body if you feel hungry and exhausted and still not good enough. I have a problem with them being called Angels too. It makes it sound like this is the perfect body, the only good looking body, the only way a woman should look. And I am not down with that. I think women should be a healthy size, not underweight or overweight (neither extreme is healthy) and that catwalks should show this average body accordingly without focusing on supermodel thin or plus size. It's not good how in response to ultra thin, we've got to respond with championing obesity, like it's acceptable and healthy. We should be focusing on a healthy middle range and being healthy for our heights and lifestyles.

I think it's frankly amusing how the show went down 3 million in ratings despite the girls getting so much attention recently due to Taylor Swift's support of them in so many forms. And so many articles being made across media of the lives of the girls due to the promo she gave them. Maybe it actually made people sick of them and their unrealistic body standards!
