Oh I know. But the harmful part (as in the influence celebrities have) was my main argument throughout this thread and it's weird to see she agreed with me years ago. And then a year later she got addicted to fillers :rip: (I'm talking about 2012 of course).

Botox though.

I don't know, I don't wanna bash her, but this to me shows that either she never cared about setting an example in this particular area or she changed her mind.

who knows tbh, the pressure of hollywood may have finally gotten to her and she caved. I believe she got juvederm and not botox, I also belive the doctor who did gaga uses fat instead of chemicals such as botox in general. I mean fat transfers never go away completely if I'm not wrong. But i appreciate her natural face more than this. If she only got her lips done I wouldn't mind. Hopefully this will fade more or less completely and she'll go back to her normal face. And yeah, the influence celebrities have when doing things like this is undeniable, but then again she can't always think about her fans when doing something.

Too true :air:

Eventually, all celebrities end up with the same face. It is a strange phenomenon.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

the message of Born This Way was about the inner self and never the "how we appear", hence the prosthetics on her body during the promotion of the video

What about the body revolution then?
It was after Born This Way, but still..

i agree with:

"I don't have any problem with it as long as she feels confident about them, it's her face she can do whatever she wants with it."

I'm sure that the person who injects botox in his/her forehead because of an abundance of confidence is yet to be born.

"as long as she feels confident about them"

GGD - One of the only places where you'll find about four threads a month about how a woman they are ostensibly a fan of is getting fat/should lose weight and a topic condemning her for changing her appearance in any way whatsoever the next day. Fans apparently already hate the woman for ever changing makeup, lighting etc. and tell her how "tragic" she looks when she has been demolishing classic beauty conventions (although I think she is one of those) for her entire career.

Translated: Little boys (it's almost always dudes) should shut their mouths about what a 30-year-old's woman's body should look like all the ****ing time. Especially when it's a woman who has suffered from bulimia and body dysmorphic disorder as a teen (that's Gaga if you couldn't tell).

I'm actually not saying anything about you, though? What's with the paranoia?

And yes, I do smell a lot of hypocrisy and aversion towards dudes trying to criticize a woman because they don't "approve" (not just of weight, it's literally about every wrinkle she may or may not have on her face) and she's not your ideal idea of a woman. It's gotten so ridiculous that fans talk about lip fillers as if she got a nose-job. She didn't. Some of you are overreacting, badly.

Let her do something without making it all about your personal idea of what people should do, is what I'm saying. Especially when worded so crassly and so unconstructively that it'd do more harm than good if she were to read them.
