Especially for an acting newcomer, it is an all-around commendable performance. Given who The Countess is, her background, her interests, her journey, etc., Gaga's choices make complete sense. Gaga's nom (to be in topic) it's a WINN/WIN for me so I really don't care about this article: or she is a good actress and deserved it or her star power is huge and they needed her (and it's still a positive thing for someone who until last year was "over and irrelevant")... no? I don't really know why I found it weird at first... I was just thinking "what? really? the golden globes?" but then I thought about it and I realized that she really deserves the nomination and that it's not "weird" at all. Ya know... since she's "not an actress ." If Gaga had completely blown it, she would not have been considered for this type of recognition. It means a lot to me as a fan. Something that I feel she was criticised of lacking in the article. They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. It's only the last song if we let it be.
