I don't think LG5 will come close to 25 but I do think it will do very well, Adele is known for being sad and relatable and pretty much undraggable, while Gaga is more polarizing and has had her share of haters

Not gonna happen and I love Gaga. It will be a strong opening week though.

I love the enthusiasm for wanting Gaga to do well but I'm realistic

No way will she be close to Adele level of sales let alone "obliterating"

Hope it does better than ARTPOP

If it does, it'll be seen as a hit

Where are all those monsters that I saw a couple of months ago saying that she will only open with 90k if we are lucky? :wtf::wtf::wtf:

OT: I don't know about 25 sized sales... like Adele broke records that hadn't been close to being broken for many many years. I'd say an era with strong opening sales and the size of Born this way if not a bit bigger. The album after that though, that's a different story :excited:

I'm sorry to use this term but... this is beyond delusion. As much as I love Gaga to have another commercial success a la 25,  it won't even touch  1989 success. If Gaga's selling power is back, then Till it Happens To You could have at least entered the top  10 of itunes.

Though, I'm hoping she can at least top BTW success. :excited:

Only if Gaga refuses to put LG5 on Spotify and all other music streaming services. It has proven to be a successful business model for Taylor and now Adele. If the GP doesn't have to pay for music, they won't. And if they don't pay, no good numbers for Gaga. It's that simple.

Idk why is everybody scared from Adele, yes has all the records and yes she is very talented, but she is not untouchable. There a few artists that can win a Grammy over Adele and Gaga is one of them.

Serendipity

I can't even :rip:

Not when Adele will outsell albums from 00s in a few weeks:rip:

I think it all depends on how the lead performs on the charts. That said, even if the lead is huge and the album itself is huge, I don't see it surpassing 25's sales.

But it certainly has the opportunity to be more iconic and timeless. I'm almost certain about that. And that's much more important.

All of us would love to see #LG5 doing those numbers but it's just close to impossible (at least for now and a few years ahead:flop:)

and better keep all of your expectations low, nobody's here for another ARTPOP-sized meltdown:gaycat:
