"She Wants Revenge" episode discussion

Her opening monologue was great and I loved her acting when she was pissed at March. It made me think of how cool it would be if she voiced a video game character, especially a villain. She'd be cool in a Bioshock kind of game :flutter:

This season they're doing a lot better at ending side plots and characters than last season. Will is dead, John knows who the killer is, ect. The biggest things left are the kids, the plot against The Countess, Valentino, and finishing the Ten Commandment killings. I like this pacing.

Best episode so far, one of the best in the entire series. Her ****ing scream. She's best when she's emotional.

Kevin Parker, Mac Demarco, Mark Ronson, and a stoned Lady Gaga. Need I say more?

If she comes back next season, she better get a more emotional character because I loooove when she is angry and love when she yells.

I know how it sounds, but I'm really excited for her death if The Countess is really going to die. I'm waiting for it.

Her death is going to be so mortifying. Assuming she kills Natasha next episode, Valentino will be so upset and that just means she has a list of people who want to murder her.

I'm ready to see Gaga mutilated. Extreme 2009 VMAs part II, please.

It's quite a sure thing the Countess will die at the end of Hotel. The big question is : who will have the chance to do it ? ^^

Will Drake's death was just weird, Idk like his reaction is so delayed, but yasss at Miss Evers standing over him and smiling like she said

I love how the opening and closing shot of the episode is Gaga's eye. Maybe that could be insinuating the idea of "an eye for an eye"? Hopefully Liz Taylor kills her, that'd be nice.

After last week, I didn't think it was possible for the season to redeem itself so quickly. That was easily one of the best episodes of the last two or three seasons. And Gaga's best episode aside from "Flicker".

So I'm confused - Tristan died in the hotel, so why can't he visit Liz? Why is he gone for good unlike everyone else who died in the Hotel?

Maybe it's cuz Elizabeth ordered Liz to bury him, presumably far away from the hotel. She knows ghost Tristan would cause problems for her schemes.

I agree with all of this tbh. Hotel Cortez gives me such Bioshock teas with the aesthetic. March's character reminds me of Andrew Ryan or Sander Cohen in terms of their grandstanding and posture. I wonder if there's a chance Evan Peters played the game and used them as an inspiration.

The way all the characters' relationships with each other intersect with each other is amazing. A lot of them are established but there's still new things being introduced to us like Mrs. Evers' romantic affections or March that motivate her to warn Will Drake about Elizabeth (even though James still seems perfectly fine being the Countess' dog) and the development of the tensions between Elizabeth and Natacha.

I predict a Liz x Iris collab. And Gaga's acting was spot on tonight. It's still on the up and up!
