ChicaSkas 22,344 Posted March 20, 2012 Share Posted March 20, 2012 So for the first time I watched the film Puss In Boots and I got a delightful surprise: at the very end of the film, I hear the opening sounds of Americano! (yes yes I know all of you have probably already known about this for months and months but the last time I saw anything about it they were just saying it was in the film's trailer) This version has the same vocals we know and love, but it has been remixed to "cover over" areas where the lyrics wouldn't fit the film. Also the sounds of cowbell were added along with a topical bass line (one of the lounge cats in the Glitter Box is plunking a guitar string on top of the song) so the feel of the song is altered a bit. I rather like it! But I have no way of ripping the audio from my DVD. Did anyone do that already when it came out?
