Good for her seriously.  She's a talented singer with a few hits under her belt.  Her roles in film are just as exciting.  I would like to hear the direction her music career is taking her to now.

I wasnt serious about Ashlee Simpson haha but Britney's album is coming next year and I think Xtinas too.

it's folk/rock i guess, like Coverage, Wild Hope & Amanda Leigh :madge:  tho i actually rather those 3, but i still love her pop album even when she hate them :air:

I wouldn't call any of them a flop because everyone has their peak. Gaga, Rihanna and Katy all peaked from 2008 - 2011 but they can still have successful eras. Mandy Moore never really took her music career seriously I assume but Britney and Xtina dominated the pop scene from 1999 to 2004. They aren't as big as they were back then but they are still successful. Britney also became big again in 2008 with Circus. Britney and Xtina have potential to have another successful era because if Mariah did it with Emancipation of Mimi then they could do it.

Poor thing :pray: i think her peak was as an actress with A walk to Remember - Saved, she never was that big in music, except maybe for Candy, IWBWY & Cry/Crush, idk

Britney even had honorable success with Femme Fatale in 2011. It spawned 3 top 10 singles. Just throwing that out there because if you think of Britney, her only real "flop" era was Britney Jean. Even Blackout was very popular and still considered one of her best albums. I really hope she can re-emerge as a pop powerhouse with the next album.

Yup I agree. I think if she plays her cards right she'll have a successful era but she really needs to promote although she didnt promote much in femme fatale and it still did well. Work Bitch had no promo and it still was a hit. Truthfully I don't think Britney needs to promote or have another successful era since she's already solidified herself as a pop icon. I do think she'll have another successful era again regardless though.
