No Florence or Grimes in the top 3? Wrong list

They delivered the best female albums and Art Angels can easily be considered the best album of 2015

Rebel Heart and Revival definitely don't belong on this list. Especially since Cry Baby didn't make the cut.

Honeymoon / Sound & Color

I hate it when these lists are released before the year is over! I've still got another 5 albums to review this year (big names too, Rolling Stone should know this, considering the likes of Coldplay are in there) and potentially 6 if Rihanna does release. Maybe more if there's a surprise release. I thought these magazines would realise after 2 years that an album can come out of nowhere these days, thus, throwing the whole list off if the surprise one released just before Christmas is the best of the year. No wonder no one wants to release in December - all these music magazines can't seem to wait until January to put their best of list out, so all the December releases get overlooked! Don't worry, you'll still get my annual best and worst of lists in January when they're supposed to be done!

Wow, out of their 50, only 5 of them have got onto my best of list (top 20) so far. There's another 2 that might just slip under the wire if nothing better comes along, so possibly as many as 7. Out of 50 albums, really? Also, I don't count mixtapes or cover albums, so that takes a few out. Honestly, I don't know how anyone can find 50 good albums from just one year. I struggle to even make 20 these days. No one can be that easily impressed.

Congrats to Björk, Lana, Carly Rae, Adele, Madonna, Florence, and Joanna!

Revival did pleasantly surprise me, so I'm glad it's getting some recognition.

I wish Art Angels and Unbreakable were on the list, but oh well. I'm sure they'll be on other lists.

I agree. How are reviewers gonna totally ignore December releases? It doesn't make any sense.

I'm not a woman. I'm not a man. I am something that you'll never understand.
