She does have good technique but that doesn't mean that she has no flaws. She still has tongue and jaw tension and as i said, she tends to higher her larynx with certain notes. Those things don't necessarily harm her vocal cords but her singing would sound better if she had no tension (of course). Not saying that she's untalented or anything, I freaking love Ari, been a fan since day one and she has improved a lot. But there are still little things that she needs to work on.

She doesn't just have a bit of a jaw tension. She has a big problem there. Her high notes sometimes don't have any body at all. It's pretty safe to say that she needs to work on her breath support. But nothing a bit of exercising, boring tedious work and confidence doesn't solve.

If i'm in a small country and could find at a modest price a teacher that could help on those issues, i'm sure Ariana Big can find it too.. lol

I love her voice in "Love me harder", that luxurious tone gives me life.

AdAstra

Florence Welch. The first time I heard "No Light, No Light", the belt near then end literally made the hair on the back of my neck stand up.

Ariana once said that her vocal coach helps with making her voice "stronger" so that she can survive a world tour but I feel like he doesn't really teach her a lot about technique. That being said, she's improved a lot from 2013 (when her first album came out) to 2015. Her tongue tension isn't quite as bad as it was last year, so i guess she is working on it. Plus, her enunciation got noticeably better as well. Just compare her live performance of Tattooed Heart from 2013 to now, she is way better. Her stamina is also way better. In 2014 she could barely make it through Break Free, whereas now she doesn't have a problem at all. I hope she keeps working on her voice.

And yeah, same here, I live in a rather small country and I get classical vocal lessons, which is the best one imo.

Well there's bad teachers  that are classical trained. Like, too many!

I hope Ariana keeps improving and slays us to no end. She has the goods, when the voice is there it's bright and round.
