Mobster 14,604
I stumbled upon this Buzzfeed post and looked at the comment section on facebook... Isn't it interesting how fast the GP changes it's mind? We've obviously all seen it, but it always baffles me again and again... Beyonce "replaced" by Taylor, now Taylor "replaced" by Adele... How predictable can the GP get? Here's a couple of comments with lots of likes: "Mmmm...no. There's no comparison between Queen Adele and sanitized TV dinner Taylor. Buzzfeed please, really." "Adele can sing like a goddess Taylor sucks.. simple" "Well one has talent...the other is a sellout that seems to have forgotten her roots." Anyway, the important message I wanted to take out of this is, that we really shouldn't worry that much about the GP. Let Gaga do what she loves and what we love, because at the end of the day even if she is at the top, there will be a next "current" sensation and nothing left to cling on to... That's what I loved about the C2C "era"... Nothing to worry about, no "when will she flop?", "is this going to be big?"; "What single should she choose to please the GP?" ... I mean, we knew from the start that it wouldn't be that big in the eyes of the GP (It actually amazed me how well it was received) and we could fully appreciate the music... We can celebrate her success, but let's not make it our priority But I'm only a man and I do what I can.
Tropico 4,145
I don't think Taylor Siwtf was ever as well liked as Beyonce and Adele by the GP. Sure, they liked her but the GP were and are swooning over Beyoncé and Adele. But I agree with you. ♢ Social Justice Enthusiast ♢

PaperIz 7,346
The public is so fickle. I don't rely on what the majority thinks. When Shake It Off hit the world loved Taylor again and because Adele is back and makes *~☆real music ☆~* they hate Taylor again, not to mention the public always turns on popular artists. It will happen to Adele one day. Human generated art

The one who wasn't that well received might have been Beyonce, because she wasn't charting THAT well... But the critics loved Beyonce But I'm only a man and I do what I can. Creyk 17,805
They only do this to Taylor because she overexposed herself...and sadly she doesn't want to stop, even though Wildest Dreams would have been a perfect final single. She's been getting bad press for nothing ever since she ruled pop culture for a year.

Beyonce had every body calling her "queen" and she had turned the sassy diva thing into a positive thing. The whole ***Flawless/'I woke up like dis' movement sort of solidified her impact on the GP. She especially had the younger audiences eating out the palm of her hand, even if they didn't listen to her music. And Adele... Adele is just untouchable of course. The GP will never turn on her. ♢ Social Justice Enthusiast ♢

Iwontell 7,312
This is the way things go...the "Gee, Pee!" is not interested in music, artistry or in people, they care about "the moment"...if the media has decided that the moment gravitates around Adele, they're going to flock to Adele; If it's Taylor who's the center, then they'll write odes to her chops...it has always been like this and it will always be... And it's not that they're bad people or anything like that, it's just that they consume music as a product...when 25 comes after an 1989, it's like an iPhone 7 coming out after an iPhone 6, they want what's current, what people are talking about - for some reason it makes them feel good and "included"...that's why all of a sudden you see some ppl here getting Adele for avatar and defending her with their lives - and as soon as another girl comes around, it will all change again... ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.
Dangerous Man 9,245
The GP are just hypocrite bunch of ppl. They will love you win you're hot, they will drag you when you're not anymore.
