Why haven't Gaga and Kendrick tried to collaborate since 2012?

We all know both Gaga and Kendrick claim there were no harsh feelings behind the termination of Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe and Partynauseous. They both claim it was due to timing issues and their camps disagreeing with each other. However, Kendrick had no problem collaborating with Taylor. Why is it that Gaga and Kendrick haven't tried to collaborate since 2012? :green:

Not sure but I'm kind of happy about it. I'm not here for Gaga's creative process to be undercut again like with PARTYNAUSEOUS (which I still capitalize 'cause that's what she wanted) :rip:

Well, whilst they both seem to respect each other, it sounds like they both wanted to take PARTYNAUSEOUS in different directions and maybe they decided that they both want too many different things from the other?

That's my kind of take on the situation, might be the truth or might not be.

For the same reason she hasn't collaborated with Beyoncé again: It's hard trying to find multiple consecutive days where both are free and creatively energized to work together. Whenever Gaga's ready, Kendrick is probably doing other **** like doing touring, promoting, resting or spending time with his family and vice versa. Also Gaga is still associated with the gays and I'm 100% sure Kendrick's team still doesn't want that to not tarnish his street cred (which is why the collab got the boot in the first place even though both loved and wanted to release it)

Their record labels disagreed pretty much, I really don't know.

But then again he did collaborate with Emeli Sandé for BDKMV...
I felt Gaga didn't want to be any kind of "background voice" so she just dismissed it. Therefore she still posted that Vision video with her singing to the song alone, without Kendrick. Which I feel it's a shame, but oh well :/

Kendrick didn't want to collab with a flop artist. :green:

They don't have to be together to make a song tho. In fact, Gaga recorded her verse for BDKMV while she was touring in the UK and Kendrick was in the U.S.

Also, that's not why the collab got the boot.

BDKMV was booted because the song was still a demo and was not finished by the time they needed to meet a deadline.

Partynauseous was booted because their teams didn't agree on the direction of the song. From what I can gather, Gaga wanted a J-Pop oriented sound but Kendrick wanted her to just be a hook ala MIA style.

And Gaga has repeatedly pointed out that she absolutely hates doing this and that she'd much rather work with the people in person.

I took it as them not being able to agree on their sound. Their managements weren't having it too, apparently. I'm sure they still respect each other as artists, but I do feel bad about the fact that Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe has become so huge in the Hip Hop community knowing that Gaga could have been a part of it.
