They has never been serious insults in the way *******, **** or ****** are.

because they didn't want it to be. they were supposed to be racial slurs that never caught on because white people couldn't be put down like other races.

not at all, it's the truth. in fact i'm saying more white people were racist therefore being called racial slurs from other races didn't get to them because they don't get as much discrimination for their skin color.

Well exactly... The white people have always portrayed themselves, historically, as superior and thus they were perceived as superior, even recently, when it was a major historical event that a black man could become the President of the United States. When you're on top, nothing can really get to you. But when you're the gay community, a community that's like, at the bottom of food chain in many MANY countries, and even in the USA, where they're still fighting for equality and still have enormous issues with gay teens getting bullied and harassed; that kind of stuff gets to you, whether you want it to or not.
